Welcome to Campus Enterprise Opportunities (CEO) brand new sparkling blog. If you haven’t come across us before we offer advice, support and guidance to De Montfort University’s students and graduates who are interested in starting their own business, becoming self employed or freelancing.
CEO’s events help to increase student’s business start-up knowledge and provide valuable inspiration to develop their idea, whatever type of business they are looking to start.
From online designer shoe boutiques to festival taxis, hard work and dedication means that hundreds of innovative ideas from DMU students have already flourished into successful business with the support from CEO.
What can you do for me?
So, whether you’re a first, second or third year, graduate or a member of staff at DMU, Campus Enterprise Opportunities will have an event that will develop your enterprise skills and help you stand out from the crowd.
We offer a range of start-up sessions to provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to help you kick start your business. There are one to one advice sessions available with our start-up surgeries; these also include specialist surgeries providing Finance, Marketing, Legal and Intellectual Property advice.

Alongside all of this CEO are able to offer you a space for you to develop your business idea. De Montfort University’s Innovation Centre is a hub for start-up businesses and future entrepreneurs and is available for you to use, free of charge.
